            We would like to thank you for visiting the website of Christ Community Church. We are an independent fellowship of believers ministering together under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Jesus Christ and to be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We have chosen our name because of its biblical significance.
            CHRIST is central. It is only through Jesus Christ's perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection that we can be saved from our sin, given peace with God, and experience eternal life. We joyfully worship Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.
            COMMUNITY is also significant. We are a community that fellowships within our church family, while also seeking to be a light for those around us. This bond of unity and love for others is based on God's promise to forgive the guilty and give hope to the hopeless.
            Finally, CHURCH is essential. This is Jesus' own designation for those who have been called by His name and assemble together for worship. Christ has promised to build, sustain, and lead His church. Therefore, all that we do is in submission and obedience to Christ.
            This is just a small taste of why Christ Community Church exists. We pray that you might make our church your home and join us as we shine the glory of Christ for all to see.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings. The Scriptures are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the divine, final authority for the faith and life of all Christians.(II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21)

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (II Corinthians 13:14; Isaiah 48:16,17; Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2).

We believe that Jesus Christ is both true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the Cross as a sacrifice for sins according to the scriptures. The perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ is accredited only to those who believe for salvation. Further, he arose bodily from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate (John 1:1; Proverbs 8:23; John 12:34; Philippians 2:5-11; II Corinthians 5:19; Matthew 1:18, 23, 25; John 20:27; Luke 24:39-43; Acts 2; Hebrews 4:14).

We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age to convict men and regenerate the believing sinner. (John 16:7-11, John 14:15-18). The Holy Spirit indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for godly living and service.

We believe that man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27) but fell into sin and is therefore lost. (Romans 3:23; 5:12; Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; 1 Kings 8:46; Psalm 143:2; Ephesians 2:1-3). Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Genesis 1-3; John 3)

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection, sacrificial death, provide the only grounds for justification and salvation for all who believe. Only those who receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God (Romans 3:21-30).

We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age. We believe that they are, however, not to be regarded as means for salvation (Matthew 28:19;
I Corinthians 11:26).

We believe that the true church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 1:1-2). They are united together in the Body of Christ of which Christ alone is the Head (Matthew 16:18; John 15:15; John 17; I Corinthians 12:13).

Thus we believe that only those who are members of the true church shall be eligible for membership of the local Church. (Acts 2:41-47)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the church and that every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs.

We believe in the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. This "blessed hope" has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believers. (Acts 1:11, Revelation 1:6, Mark 3:33-37, Titus 2:11-13, Revelation 22:20, I Thessalonians 4:16-18, Revelation 19:1-20, Matthew 13:24-28)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead. The believer will be resurrected to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord. The unbeliever will be resurrected to judgment and everlasting punishment. (I Corinthians 15, John 5:28-29, Philippians 1:21-23, I John 3:2, I Corinthians 3:8-15, Luke 16:19-31, II Peter 2:9, Revelation 20:11-15, and 21:8, Mark 9:43-48, Jude 1:13)

In keeping with the Authority as Scripture we recognize that marriage is the union of one(1) man and one(1) woman. (Genesis 2:24, I Timothy 3:1-13, Romans 1:24-27)
